International Day of People with a Disability 2017
AMF Bowling Centres across Australia and New Zealand are once again supporting International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD) on Friday 1 December 2017, offering FREE bowling and a fun-filled day of activities for disabled persons and their carers.
For the 4th year running, AMF is showing its support of the United Nations sanctioned day with a fun-filled event, with activities commencing at 11am at each venue. AMF venues nationwide invite guests from the local community to take part in activities, in addition to free bowling for disabled persons and their carers.
“At AMF we are proud of how inclusive our venues are for all Australians and we embrace our ability to have People with a Disability (PWAD) bowl at our venues. Bowling is a sport in which most people with a disability can participate” commented AMF’s CEO, Nicole Noye.
All AMF venues are disability friendly and provide access to a fun, relaxing environment that can be enjoyed for free on 1 December” added Noye.
