AUSTRALIAN OPEN AND VIC150 TOURNAMENTS

Australia’s star bowlers compete for a chance to participate in the world’s most prestigious tenpin bowling tournament

AMF Bowling is giving Australia’s top bowlers the chance to win a place representing Australia at the 46th Annual QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Zagreb, Croatia this year.

The first place winners from the highly competitive Australian Open* and the VIC150 Tournament for female bowlers, will each score the chance to compete on the world stage at the 2010 QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup. Click here to view the full media release.

QubicaAMF confirms the 46th Bowling World Cup

Bowling300 in the Croatian capital of Zagreb has been confirmed as the host of the QubicaAMF 46th Bowling World Cup. The World Cup, which will be held from the 15th - 24th October 2010, will showcase the talents of some of the best ten-pin bowlers from across the world.

Previous Australian Representatives have been Jason Belmonte, George Frilingos, Paul Trotter, Jason Walsh, Ann-Maree Putney and Rebecca Simpson.

The winner from the VIC150 and the male winner from the Australian Open will represent Australian at the 46th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup.

AMF Bowling is the proud sponsor of the 2010 AMF National Masters

Australia will be home to one of the richest purses in tenpin bowling in the world from next year.

AMF Bowling CEO, Jordan Rodgers, announced a record  sponsorship of $100 000 for the 2010 Tenpin Bowling National Masters at the opening of the Rachuig Tournament in Brisbane on Tuesday 20th October 2009.

The AMF National Masters as it will be known from 2010, will be a highlight of the 2010 National Championships, which will be held at the new AMF Bowling Rooty Hill, NSW in October 2010. This sponsorship announcement represents a significant partnership between the National Sporting Organisation TBA and AMF Bowling.
